〜はさておき

はさておき sets one topic aside to focus on a more important one: 冗談はさておき、本題に入りましょう, "joking aside, let's get down to business".

It's close to はともかく (N2) and は別として (N2), and often interchangeable. はさておき feels like deliberately postponing a topic for now, often in conversation or meetings.

何はさておき is a fixed phrase meaning "before anything else, first of all": 何はさておき、まずは食事にしよう, "first things first, let's eat".

さておく means "to put aside". Compare はもちろん (N2), "of course (and)", which includes rather than sets aside.
