んだから gives a reason that the listener already knows or should accept, often to justify advice or a demand: もう大人なんだから、自分で決めなさい, "you're an adult now, so decide for yourself".
It's から with the explanatory ん (N5). That ん makes the reason feel obvious, which adds pressure: "given that, surely you see".
It's common in advice, persuasion and mild scolding. It can also be warm: せっかく来たんだから、ゆっくりしていって, "you've come all this way, so stay and relax".
Nouns and な-adjectives take な: 子どもなんだから. The formal version is のだから.
Examples
もう大人なんだから、自分で決めなさい。
You're an adult now, so decide for yourself.
疲れているんだから、早く寝たほうがいい。
You're tired, so you'd better get to bed early.
せっかく来たんだから、ゆっくりしていって。
You've come all this way, so stay and relax.
約束したんだから、守らなきゃ。
You promised, so you have to keep your word.
子どもなんだから、仕方ないよ。
They're only a child, so it can't be helped.
